BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Most Levco propane customers pay the market rate — also called variable pricing — the price in effect at each delivery as the wholesale market moves. It is the simplest way to buy propane, and automatic delivery means there is nothing for you to schedule. If you prefer a steadier price for covered gallons, a fixed-price arrangement may be available under written program terms. And if you would rather even out what you pay each month, ask about our Budget Plan.

Key takeaways

  • Market rate (variable) is the price in effect at each delivery
  • Most customers stay on it — nothing to manage
  • Fixed-price protection where offered, under written terms
  • Budget Plan evens out your monthly payments
PROGRAMS

Pricing and payment choices.

Market Rate (Variable)

The price in effect at each delivery, moving with the wholesale market. Simple, nothing to manage, and where most of our customers are.

Fixed Price

Where offered, sets a steady price for the covered gallons under written terms. A hedging fee typically applies.

AutoPay

Uses the payment authorization on your account for fuel payments under the current enrollment terms.

Budget Plan

Evens out your monthly payments instead of paying in full after each delivery. It changes how you pay, not what the propane costs.

FAQ

Propane pricing questions

How is propane priced?
Propane is priced per gallon at the market rate — also called variable pricing — which is the price in effect at each delivery and moves with the wholesale market. Call us for current pricing, availability, and written program terms.
Is there a way to protect against a price spike?
Where it's available, a fixed-price program sets a steady price for the covered gallons under written terms. A hedging fee typically applies, since the protection has to be purchased in the market.
How does the Budget Plan work for propane?
A Budget Plan evens out what you pay each month rather than paying in full after each delivery, reconciled against actual usage, deliveries, pricing, and account terms.
Can I use AutoPay?
Yes. AutoPay and the Budget Plan are Levco's fuel-payment options. AutoPay uses the payment authorization on your account; the Budget Plan spreads estimated annual cost across scheduled payments and later reconciles to actual account activity. Call for current enrollment terms.
Do I pay a tank rental fee?
Tank arrangements depend on whether the tank is owned or leased and on the equipment at your home. We'll walk through what applies before anything is signed.
Can I use the same program for oil and propane?
If you get both fuels from us, call the office and we'll look at your account together — the programs are written per fuel.
